A must read

Some books are to be chewed, others 2 be swalloed, and sum few 2 be chewed n digested.
-Francis Bacon

I couldnt agree more.

Well...there are some books which have made a lasting impresssion on my mind....
Who moved my cheese,You can win are 2 of them. These are the kinds
that motivate a person and bring about an optimistic look in him.
With every book there is something more to learn ....about life
or about the topic the book deals with. Some books are meant
for shear entertainment....i enjoy those too.

There is this book ,I enjoyed reading a lot..a popular one....
which might soon be made into an hollywood motion picture..
[albeit these movies are no match to their literary counterpart ,
they do make it a lot more entertaining] ..........Angels n Demons
by Dan Brown....its one of its kind....u will know what I mean
if u hav read it...though a controversial one...well its personal taste.
I must credit Dan Brown for the research work he does before
writing his books. All 4 of his books have revealed facts ive never
known before. He sure knows a lot about the backdrop against
which he pens his stories.Though they are mere fictions...
they seem logically relevent. The plus point about his mystery
based books is that they are very gripping.
I remember when I was half way through this book my mom
ordered me to go to bed as it was 12 in the midnight.Later
in my dreams I found myself in search of the four altars of
science which the book's character Robert Langdon is looking
for in the part where I left reading. Not just the beginning and
the due course but even the ending spellbinds your mind such
that it lingers in your head for a long time.

Like a true blue girl I enjoy reading romantic novels with happy ending....
my favorite being Pride n Prejudice by Jane Austen.[Though
gurinder chadda made a mockery of the classic by making an
Indianissed version of the same.]
What i liked in particular?? Of course!! the character of Mr.Darcy.
Which girl would'nt?? He is what I and many others would call my
MR. Perfect. The story is about two leading characters ,both filled
with pride for oneself and prejudiced about the other.
It does happen in real life too.[not necassirily with the opposite sex, though]
Rich boy meets poor girl ...that seems a bit too similar...
nevertheless.. Jane austen presents an intersting plot.Set in the
18 century, her description of the characters and their emotions are
very realistic.
Its a classic tale of romance liked by loads who have read it.

There are many people who dont like reading, the fat volume scares many off.
Since most of the classic ones are made into movies..they rather prefer watching them.
Then Again..as i mentioned before its a personal choice.

Well in my case..to sit by the window where a cool breeze blows
along with a hot mug of coffe, reading a nice book....
is ultimate pleasure.
